The best and the worst places to be a woman

®     This article is recent (26/04/11) and it´s about the best and the worst places to be a woman. This study was carried out in 165 countries.
®     We chose this article because we are women and we want to stand up for women’s rights.
The first best place for a woman to live in is ICELAND:
®     The overall score is 100 – Great conditions in every sector
®     They have a female president
®     This tiny nation protects women´s rights a lot
®     The levels of justice, health, education and politics are over 90 (in a scale of 0-100) and the level of economics are 88 which means that this country  has very good living conditions.
The second best place for a woman to live in is SWEDEN:
®     Each parent gets 16 months fully paid leave
®     The overall score is 99,2%
®     And the five factors are classified over 90 (justice, health, education, politics and economics).
On the other hand, the first worst place to be a woman is CHAD:
®     It is a country in Central Africa. Due to its distance from the sea and its largely desert climate, the country is sometimes referred to as the “Dead heart of Africa”
®     Women have almost no legal rights
®     Many marriages are arranged when girls are eleven and twelve years old.
®     The overall score is 0!
®     The levels of health and education are 0, as well!
The second worst place to be a woman is AFGHANISTAN:
®     More than 25% of women give birth with no medical help
®     Afghanistan has the world´s highest rate of maternal mortality
®     Compared to Sweden, women in Afghanistan hardly have any access to health , justice, healthcare, education,…
